In 1999, for the first time in 50 years, an American baseball team, the Baltimore Orioles, played two exhibition matches against the Cuban National Team. GREENER GRASS explores the complex history of Cuban and American relations through the sport of baseball. Baseball has a place in America’s heart, but the game is engraved on Cuba’s soul.
